Terms of Service

By commissioning me you are agreeing to the following terms. Please read carefully. When sending me the form, you have to state clearly, that you read the following Terms of Service.

General Guidelines

  • Please include good visual references and a good description. The more info the better, references, colours, desired elements are needed for a result both you and I are happy with. For good work, good references are needed.
  • I can draw: OCs, humanoids, portraits of real people, pets, animals, monster creatures, artistic nudity, item designs, page décor, frames.
  • I will NOT draw: underaged characters, gore, mechas. Also, i will not draw Stuff that contains/ is:  queerphobia, racism, hate speech in any form, hate symbols, child abuse, domestic abuse, xenophobia, sexism, general bigotry.
  • I reserve the right to decline a commission for any reason.
  • You accept that the final product is digital. It is not a physical item.

  • Description and References: (Please provide good and clear visual references but also a description of what you want. I will not accept commissions with AI Generated Images as reference. I’d rather work just from description.)
    • I do love being send lists of Symbolism connected to the character, both for illustrations and designs.
    • Please make sure to communicate your idea clearly.
    • If I have any questions regarding your commission i will get back to you.

Copyright

Personal Use

Commissioned Artworks (such as Character Designs, Character Illustrations ect.) are, generally, for personal use only, and cannot be distributed and/or reproduced for financial gain. (Look at the Copyright section for more information.)

  • You are not allowed to change or overpaint the commissioned artwork.
  • You can use the Commission you receive only in ways that result not in future financial gain! I, as artist, keep the right to use the commission to publish it (for example: on social media, Art related Websites or in my Portfolio). I will however not offer alone standing prints of the piece nor resell the work. I will not use it in artbooks without prior agreement.
  • If the commission shall stay private (means that you don´t want me to post it on social media for example), you have to tell me before I start the work. Private commissions won´t be uploaded but will cost an extra fee.
  • I do allow reposts of the final artwork on Social Media, blogs, websites ect but only with credits and as long as it’s not a direct advertisement that is placed for financial gain. You can post it on pages like toyhouse too or make prints that are not sold but for yourself or friends.
    • I do not allow posts on Pinterest!
    • I do not allow posts of the early-stage sketches and WIPs.
  • I DO NOT ALLOW NFT MINTING/NFTS nor any use of my art for AI Training, AI editing etc.

Commercial Use

Artworks (such as, for example, Character Designs, Illustrations and item designs) that are planned to be used commercial will cost an additional fee depending on use and price. You have to tell me what you plan to use them for, if it’s limited (like for example 50 postcards) or if it needs to be unlimited. Upon that we will talk about the height of the fee. It can range from 50% of the base price up to 300% of the base price. I still reserve the right to publish the artwork on social media as well as on my website.
For the full copyright, i will take 500% of the base price.

  • The Copyright depends on how the Commission is planned to be used. In this point, arrangements can be made to transfer (parts of) the copyright, depending on use.
  • I DO NOT ALLOW NFT MINTING/NFTS nor any use of my art for AI Training, AI editing etc. If thats what you want the commercial use for, i will decline your commission.

Payment

  • Payment is due in full upfront for any commission equal to or below 500€.
  • For anything over 500€, payment plans are available.
    • For returning costumers, a payment plan can be agreed upon for anything over 200€.
  • I need your PayPal E-Mail to send you an invoice, otherwise I can provide you mine.
    • If you don’t want an invoice and send the money to me, please make sure to send in the right Currency (€) and make sure to mark shipment as not necessary.

Process

  • When it’s your turn, I will send you a DM or Email, that I will start your Commission.
  • After a while, I will send you a rough sketch, if you give me your okay or tell me what has to be changed, I will start working in the commission again.
    • If it is an item design, you will receive either a few sketches or some silhouettes to choose from.
      • I reserve the right to modify and resell any rejected sketches or designs as “pre-posed” at a later date.
    • There will be up to three (3) rounds of revisions, if need be, where you can state changes, you wish for. After each round I present you a new sketch or updated silhouettes.
    • Each round of revisions above those three rounds will cost additional money according to the extra time spend.
  • You will be kept up to date with work in progresses.
    • There will be an additional round of revisions during the mid process where I will ask you if any changes need to be made.
  • The price might adjustif you decide on needing additional elements that have not been agreed upon in the start to avoid free undpaid labour on my end.
  • When I’m done, I will send it to you again.  I will do 1-2 minor changes in colour but won’t change composition or major details in this late stage.
  • Commission may take up to 4-20 weeks. If delays arise, you will be notified.
    • The number of weeks depends on my health and overall workload as well as the size of the project.

Refunds and Canceling

  • If you wish to cancel your commission during the sketch stage, when I already started, you will be refunded 50% of what you’ve paid.
    • This makes sure that my labour costs of communication, searching references, research and doing the sketching work are covered.
  • If you wish to cancel your commission after the sketching stage, there will be no refund.
    • Oftentimes a lot of time has been spend on my part at that point on the project, and therefore I can not offer refunds after that stage.
  • You’ll receive a full refund if for any unjustifiable reason, I’m unable to finish the commission
